When did they get taken? During the day. He was tricked and abducted.
Special power: Due to being between light and dark, he has the powers of both. But he cannot use them on Angels or Demons to an extent. He usually sticks to his manipulation over the shadows and darkness. When around other supernatural’s, Dean finds it easy to know what kind , which was due to his powers and his history with multiple clients.
(WIP) Personality traits: Laid-back, calm, Discreet, Honest, Genuine, Kind, very dark minded and sadistic when dealing with the people who get on his bad side. Apathetic at certain times. Stubborn and sarcastic at the most. He does have a temper that he occasionally lets slips sometimes when he loses his patience.
History: Dean had used to be human, but died around the age of 29 while saving the life of an innocent. He was then reborn as a shadow walker by the Archangel. The reason is unknown to him, although saving the life of an innocent would be good. Although as a shadow walker with the power of light and dark, Dean can’t use them against angels and demons to an extent. By this, it means that his powers would have 10% chance of harming either one. The deal with being a shadow walker was that when summoned by human, angel, demon, etc, Dean had the obligation of doing a deed for them. The deed could be evil or good. So of course he was forced to kill innocents a couple of times or demons who had been at the wrong place at the wrong time. The good thing about this was that he could refuse favors made by humans and any other creature that wasn’t in the other two categories. Though he could never refuse Angels or Demons.
Soon enough after becoming a shadow walker, Dean had befriended three angel sisters. One of them was Lonette, the younger of the two, whom Dean had fallen in love and gotten into a relationship with. That part of his life is what Dean craves the most to get back. But that wonderful life had crumpled into a million pieces when he had started to see Lonette acting stranger and stranger each day. She was becoming more distant and there were times that Dean swore he saw jealousy in her eyes when she cast random glances at her sisters. It felt like he was seeing darkness in Lonette that was building up to the surface of her sweet persona. A nagging feeling in his mind had caused him once day to follow Lonette through the shadows. But he wished now that he hadn’t done so. Well to a point.
What he found was his lover engaging two demons in a conversation over killing Jessica and Holli, the sisters of Lonette. Once she got rid of her sisters after absorbing their powers when they were dead, she would have the demons to back her up on taking over Heaven. Her jealously of her sisters and seeking power over others was driving Lonette onto becoming a fallen angel. Something that Dean feared that she was already becoming. After hearing enough of this plan, Dean had confronted Lonette and begged her not to choose such a path. However she didn’t listen, but tried to persuade Dean onto her side. When he had refused and claimed of stopping her plans, Lonette had attacked him with no hesitation. At this betrayal from his true love, Dean chose to not have her turn into a fallen angel and go on with this plan. With sorrow and fury, Dean slayed Lonette easily due to her being in the midst of becoming a fallen angel. Also the demons were slain as well when Dean had used their own weapons against them, as to prevent them from tarnishing Lonette.
Once Jessica and Holli had finally come onto the aftermath of the incident, Dean had refused to tell them of his reason. All he could say that was that betrayal came with consequences. He had rather suffer or die than tell them of what had truly conspired there. But he wasn’t choosing to die just yet, so he only ran from them. Ever since Dean’s escape from the furious angels that day, he had been on the run from them ever since. Dean doesn’t regret Lonette’s death. But actually regrets not seeing the signs earlier and saving her. His assignments and the death of Lonette had made him somewhat dark minded and sadistic when dealing with those who grates his nerves, harms him, and such.
Dean was doing so far well on avoiding the angels until he was summoned one day by a particular person. It hadn’t been an assignment, but really just a trap instead by the sisters and their helper. Everything went pitch black until he woke up in a garden at a lewd masquerade party.
