Character Profile: Esmeralda

Personality- Before her fall, Esmeralda was a graceful and attentive angel who cared deeply for those that she looked after. However now she is lost in a cloud of confusion. With the burning of her wings she is forever banned from returning home and doomed to walk the mortal world with the title of a fallen angel. She knows what she did was against the rules but feels that this was the wrong action to punish her and loathes the higher angels that agreed to let this happen to her. Deep down she would like to somehow seek revenge if the opportunity arises but for now she remains helpless and terrified as it seems that her punishment is not quite over.
Relationships- Her human companion that she saved
History- Esmeralda made the mistake of falling in love with a human and saving his life when he was sentenced to death. She was soon taken by the higher angels, tied to a stake and had her wings burnt to black charred feathers. After the traumatizing ordeal she awakens in a cathedral and relives her last moments as an angel while questioning those who did this to her. It isn't long before the higher angels return and use their powers to trap her and lead her away in the night to the Asylum.

Fears/Weaknesses- Death (mainly of her human companion), Angels, Fire || She has lost her angelic powers and doesn't yet know if she possesses any power as a fallen angel. Her wings don't allow long distance flights due to their tenderness from the burning
