Unsual Talk with the Mysterious Male (tags: The Hunter) TTW

Anita scowled lightly, huffing a bit in annoyance. It was so rare for her to ever get worked up. Well perhaps she needed that 'tantrum'. Anita felt a bit calmer after she said all of that stuff to the male, crossing her arms over her chest.

"I'm presuming by the silence that you don't really give a shit?" Anita commented in a low, tired tone.

"My attitude until now wasn't clear enough or something?" he said right back. So she's calmed down now. Maybe she was usual more calm than this... and considerd what she's goign through right now could really blame her?
"Being 'human' isn't always a bad thing. Don't get so worked up over what a stranger says, much less an enemy."

"Well I guess we both have to work on something, don't we? You with your attitude and I with my noticing other's attitudes." Anita scoffed lightly. She really didn't have any right to judge his attitude. Anita had to be grateful that he had actually started a conversation with her. It seemed that he didn't converse much either due to his attitude. So this conversation with the 'Hunter' had to be rare.

She shrugged her shoulders a bit at the male's recent words. "I know, I've met a couple of decent humans." she commented in a warm tone, as she thought of Roger. There had been a couple of times when she had wished to be someone without powers due to specific reasons. But she loved her powers too much for that to happen. They were apart of her.

"It's rare that I lose my composure like that. So I apologize."

There was a time I would've cut people's tounge off if they spoke to me like that, he recalled. Neverless, having a conversation where the other actually didn't sutter in fear or spat in his face is quite nice. Even better when they have a brain they know how to use, like this woman here. He still couldn't stand stupid people that much.
He almost took back that thought when she apologized however. He sighed again, and pushed himself off the wall.

"Got nothing to retort with," Anita teased, hearing the male sigh and move a bit. "I believe I might have to take back that apology if you are what I think you are." Anita commented with a light frown, as she referred to believing him as a torturer. His name 'Hunter' was a good hint to his job, but the male had mentioned about killing supernaturals. That didn't sit well with her.

Anita glanced over at her roommate, grimacing a bit. What Anita was worried about, wasn't her exactly. It was the others in this place that didn't seem to deserve to be here.

He almost wonder if Anita would've been just as talkative and carefree if they were face to face instead, and not with a cell door between them. When she explaiend why she thought she should apologize though, he glanced bakc at the door with a tired and still uncaring look. That wouln't would help you either way, he thought with a scoff.
"Might as well take this chance to curse all out here, next time you might be too afraid to even open your mouth."

Her lips twitched into a small frown at the male's warning. Then she sighed softly as she stared back at the door with a piercing gaze. "I will not show fear. Especially to those that crave it." she stated in a calm, stern tone. If her life was meant to end here then so be it. But that didn't mean that she was going to die without a fight. She had lived for so far two hundred years, why not try to live a bit longer?

She stayed silent for a moment before she took a deep breath and said, "If I was to show fear...then it would be for the others in this place. Not for myself." She tilted a bit onto her left heel, smiling a dark, sinister smile. "Also, don't think I'm going down without a fight."

He stayed quiet again for a while after she finihed speaking. He usally thought 'brave' and prideful people were only stupid, and deserved an early death. This one however, as she had said this, reminded him of someone else he used to know a long time ago.....
And then he let out a small laugh.
Good thing he was never one to crave fear from his victims, unless it was part of the task he had.
"It really is a shame you got stuck here, little spider," he sneered.

Anita rolled her eyes a bit at his sneer, brushing back a loose strand of hair behind her ear. She really wasn't too sure why he had said that really. It irked her a bit, she tilted her head at the door with a confused expression. Then raised an eyebrow at the sound of his laugh, curiosity getting the best of her. "And why do say that?" Anita scoffed a bit a being called a little spider.

With her tone to judge by Anita obviously wasn't that found of his little nickname. He chuckled again, before deciding it was time for him to leave. His job here was pretty much done for now. "Beacuse it's not often I enjoy having conversations," he said back smothly, brushing somethign off his jacket before turning to walk further down the dark hall.

Anita blinked in surprise at this, before smiling a bit at his answer. "I haven't had such a good conversation in a long time either." The last conversation that was good as this had been with Roger, which had been a long time ago. Anita then furrowed her eyebrows as she heard his footsteps heading away from her room. "Oh? Leaving so soon?" Anita teased a bit, as she walked over to the wall before leaning her back onto it.

"Yupp," he said back without stopping, but not exactly walking in a hurry either. "Other places to be, other things to kill and destroy," he said casually.

"Wasn't expecting such an answer." Anita rolled her eyes once at the last comment. "You've really need to find some other hobby." she teased, tilting her head up at the ceiling. She gasped softly in surprise as she remembered something. "Hey! You didn't tell me the curse that turned you immortal!" Anita exclaimed, pouting a bit.

He just sighed as sh kept on talking, rolling his eyes when she mentioned he needed another hobby. Funny enough, he's tried to find different things to do, but it always lead back to the same thing in the end.
He came to a halt when she recalled the curse he told her about. With a blank expression he looked over his shoulder back towards her cell. "Some hocus-pocus shit," he said flatly, as if it wasthe most obvious thing in the world. If she thought he'd just blurt out an explanation her well, then she thought wrong. He had never been that interested in magic anyway.

Anita huffed a bit in annoyance, shaking her head a bit. "Hocus Pocus? Thanks for such a detailed answer." She called out, her words dripping with sarcasm. She wanted some damn details. Was that a bit too much to ask. There were times when Anita got a bit antsy and agitated when she didn't get the answers she wanted. It was a bad habit to break out of.

He snickerd at hearing her reaction. She sure disliked not getting her answears. "I know alot of things, but magic has never been my strong side," he shrugged. He had of course tried to figure out what could break his curse when he recived it, but just stopped caring or seeing the point in it after a good while. Nowdays he usally only researched it whenever he was hunting some magic user or whatever.

Anita blew a strand of her hair out of her eyes, before chewing on her lip a bit lightly. "Hm. You should work on your weakness then." she pointed out bluntly. Anita paused for a moment as she mentally shuffled through her brain for any curse that made humans immortal. There had been many that Anita had read about.

"Know who gave it to you? Or what you did to receive such a curse?" she asked, trying to get a few more hints out of the male.

"Apparently I'm so good at what I do I don't need too," he mocked, half joking as he said this. he has always been one to plan thigns ahead, always being prepared for pretty much anything. Guess he wasjust used to this life style after all these centuries, he didn't even really need to focus on his weak sides anymore.
He rubbed his temple again, a fac from so long ago appearing in his mind before just as quickly dissapearing again. "This is my punishment," he said nonchalantly, as if speaking about the weather. "I've never been what you would consider 'a good person'. That's all there really is to it, who it was that did this to me doesn't really matter."

"You never know. One day there might be something that you weren't prepared for." Anita stated in a teasing tone, slightly rolling her eyes in amusement at the male's mocking. She had thought she would be prepared for anything in life. Well except for this. This situation hadn't been on her list of to be prepared for. It was quite unexpected.

Anita huffed a bit slightly, trying to put the pieces together. "Never? There had to be some time when you were good. Or at least a moment." Anita questioned in a non-believing tone. "And of course who cursed you matters. Was it a witch? Demon?"

As if that hasn't happend to me yet, he thought with a snort, recalling alot of times from before he had learned it beign prepared was good for survival. He thanked his younger self for being so paranoid of everything, that's what kept him alive back then.
"Are you really that curious or just bored out of your mind?" he grumbled. "What would it even matter to you if you learned about my background or not," he sighed as he rubbed his temple for the 10th time that hour. Her annoying questions did make him wonder though, if there ahd even been a moment people would had looked at him and thought; "Ah, what a nice boy he is." He wanted to laugh at that thought. He and his twin had never even botherd trying out that whole 'nice' thing.They would've died early if they had.

Anita thought for a moment before she whistled softly to herself. "Perhaps I'm just both? Besides I'm just making simple conversation with you." Anita calmly answered, tapping her fingers against the wall lightly. Also, Anita was enjoying conversing with the male. Her interest in the male had been increasing throughout this talk with the Hunter.

"Hm, why does it matter? Well I'll get to know more about the person that I'm talking to. Plus I'm intrigued, is that a crime?" she teased softly, finding it ironic due to her situation being in this place.

"It's a crime to kill, no matter what the situtaion," he said back, not teasing at all. He knew yes, that she had to eat, and she had already explained that she only choosed her victims in a really fair way. So no, she was not a 'bad person', and she was more merciful than most humans he had ran into through his lifetime. Still, even when he was did enjoy this conversation, didn't mean he was here to make friends or make ehr feel better about being trapped in an Asylum.

Anita bit her lip harshly at this, glancing down at the floor with a blank expression. She stood there silent for a moment before speaking out, "Call what I do a crime, if you must. I was a bit terrified at my first time draining a suicidal person. But I don't regret it after seeing and feeling the yearning of theirs to finally see their dead loved ones." It had made her feel special to give someone something they wanted the most in the world.

He sighed. Hasn't he made it clear already that he didn't care? Especially since he's so much worse, without ever feeling regrett. He loved doing what he did.... Mostly beacuse it as the only thing he had ever known.
"I'm not calling it a crime, just repeating what most humans says," he stated.

Anita sighed softly, rolling her eyes a bit at hearing the annoyance in the male's sigh. She wondered if the only thing that the male was good at was his job. It seemed to her from the first moment she spoke to him, that he cared only about filling out duties of his job. She wondered for a moment if one of his duties was talking to the prisoners. Oh well. She didn't really care if he was. Go ahead and use the information that you've seemingly gathered. Anita though to herself, as she kept her gaze on the floor.

"Hn. A saying that comes from humans who believe that Angels are such holy creatures. Even though the devil was once an angel." she chuckled a bit at the irony.
