Anita's audition :3

Anita sighed softly as she flipped to the next page of her book, her eyes flitting up to inspect the area around her. She could still hear the pitter-patter of footsteps of her soon to be victim. This one smelled of suicide and torture.

Anita slightly grimaced at the smell with a hint of distaste displayed upon her lips. Of course she'd expect the suicidal ones to come at night to her library. Her library was a special place for the poor unfortunate souls that desired their own death.

All she could hope about this victim is that they had good reasons to want to die. It would cease Anita's displeasure of taking life from someone who still had the chance to keep on living. Their blood tasted like ash to her mouth due to their unreasonable reasons to request death upon themselves.

Anita slightly flinched out of her thoughts once she felt a tremor in the air. "I see. So you've given up completely and become ensnared already." She murmured softly under her breath as she set her book down gently.

Her eyes closed for a second before opening to reveal plum colored eyes. Soon the library appeared to be layered by an arrangement of webs of all sorts. Anita stood up and walk along one of the library halls toward her prey, who had finally let go of any hope for life.

She trailed her fingers over her beautiful, yet deadly webs slowly. These webs were special, due to their power of only entrapping the people who've given up and draining them of their life force. It took Anita some time to control this special power of hers and mold it to her liking. This made her life a bit easier than what it was.

After a short time, she reached her prey, which was currently slumped in one of the webs, staring at Anita with miserable eyes. Anita smiled softly as she walked over to the middle aged male. She smelled the air again swiftly, her smile stayed soft but in a sad way. So that was the reason for his lost hope on life. His loving spouse had died while he still lived on.

"Don't worry, you'll meet her soon again," Anita murmured to the man in a soft, assuring tone. She leaned down to the solemn man's neck, sinking her fangs into it in a quick painless way. She didn't want this one to suffer like the ones who didn't deserve a painless death.

As Anita consumed the male's life force, she felt his mood brighten at the realization of seeing his beloved again. Soon there was no more of the dying man, as his body soon fell away into golden dust. Anita smiled happily as she caught sight of his smile before he died.

"We've both benefited each other, my dear." She stated simply before walking away, satisfied with this certain victim.
