Nighttime fell upon him, and Facilier shuddered. This was his most beloved time of day, but also his most dreaded. The things he'd seen in people's nightmares were disturbing beyond reason, and he supposed somehow it had made him a little disturbing as well. His thoughts in the mind of anyone else would be enough to drive them to madness.
Walking the streets he noticed a bedroom light going out and he quickly saw his chance. Waiting just a few moments longer to make sure they truly were sleeping, he then climbed the wall by the window with surprising ease, before he slid through the window, walked over to the unconscious body and laid his hand on her forehead. He loved doing this, though he wasn't certain why. It was part of him, as it had always been, the only thing he truly knew of himself. He was made for this, so this he did.
He watched her emotionless while she began to twitch and whimper. Apparently she was afraid of drowning more than anything, and right now she was experiencing it vividly. Her quickened breath made Facilier smile. He did enjoy this, but the fact he did disturbed him as well.
The girl woke with a piercing scream and a heavy chest, crying as she looked about the room. Facilier was already out the window however, waiting for another light to go out.
