Morning Glory • Chel

Chel was a bit disappointed that Phoebus didn't share with her his nightmares, but at the same time she was glad he didn't: maybe she couldn't be able to understand them or just couldn't give an useful advice.
"Sooner or later you'll be able to let it go..." she smiled at him.

Phoebus gave her a soft smile before leaning back against the wall. He stared at her for a moment, trying to think of what to say to her. "What did you dream of last night?"

Chel raised an eyebrow Changing subject, mh? she laughed to herself and laid a finger on her chin "Let me think... the ocean... the water... " she smiled watching him "Usual stuffs!"

He couldn't help but chuckle at her attitude. She never seemed to be in a bad mood, and he had to admit that was refreshing. "The usual stuff sounds...nice. I've always wondered what it would be like to visit the ocean."

Chel smiled "Yes... it's really nice..." she titled her head as he chuckled "Why are you laughing?" she asked wondering what he could find funny in that moment.

"You never seem to be..unhappy." Phoebus smirked and walked towards her. "Are mermaids always this positive?" He sat on the edge of the mattress as he watched her.

"Ah... that." Chel laughed scratching her head, actually a lot of people noticed her positive attitude. "I try to focus on the good part of things... you know it's not always easy." she smiled. Being trapped there was becoming a great challenge for her to keep her good mood.

"Well, since I've been in here with you, I don't think I've seen you unhappy once." He flashed her a quick smile as he played with his hands. "I just hope you stay that way. It's nice to have some positivity around."

"For the moment I can still see the good part!" Chel laughed, there were only two things that could make her sad: the thought of her brother and the thought of the Ocean, with the water and her tail. Since she was trying to focus on different thoughts her mood was generally good.
"Indeed..." she smiled "It's my job. To stay positive I mean."

"Your job?" Phoebus raised an eyebrow and looked at her curiously. He had never heard of it before. Were mermaid required to be..happy all the time?

Chel laughed "Not a job... job!" she laughed again "It's more like a life purpose. I do it with my brother and friends, especially my brother." she smiled placing a hand on her hip "If you're feeling down I have to help you to get better."

Phoebus nodded his head as he began to understand. "Oh, I see." He chuckled to himself. "I used to be like that you know. Not so much anymore but it was there at some point."

Chel glanced at him "Well it's a pity." she smiled, she couldn't imagine him trying to cheer people up or something like that.
"Maybe someday you'll be able to return like your younger self." she smiled "Find the good part of things and stuffs..."

"Perhaps maybe someday." Phoebus gave her a soft smile and leaned back against the wall. "Just as long as you promise not to lose your positivity, this place needs it." He said teasingly.

"Oh!" Chel smiled teasingly too "Don't worry! You won't get depressed till I'm here!" she chuckled placing both hands on her hips. For sure she won't let him lose heart, it would mean his end, especially in a place like the Asylum!

Phoebus chuckled and stood up once again. "I'm going to hold you to that. God knows I'm going to need it." He smiled to himself as he ran his fingers through his hair. If those nightmares kept up the way they had been, he'd go insane for sure.

"Good!" Chel smiled to him, she was glad that he actually needed her help, otherwise she couldn't had stood the fact that he was slowly getting more depressed.
"I'm here to help." she chuckled, like she was brought there just for that.
