Personality: Chel is curious and likes to know new things, even if she doesn’t like stay on the mainland she is fascinated by all those new human things. Sometimes she’s really childish and likes to play with everybody, especially her brother to whom she has a really strong connection, especially after their family was broken, she knows that he’s always there to protect her and she tries to do the same for him, trying to cheer him up or lightening his mood.
She tries to be always positive and see the best part of situations, but how much her optimism will last in the Asylum?  

Relationships: Kale (brother)

History: Chel and her brother Kale lived in the pacific Ocean, growing up with other of their kind, the merpeople. Their father left and moved on the mainland when she was only 4 years old, she could barely remember him since he never returned home. If she and Kale accepted the fact that their father would never return and continued with their life, growing really close together, their mother never lost the hope that one day he would return to them, blaming only herself that he was gone.
After years of waiting and neglecting, their mother got sick and as a last wish, before to die, she asked at both of her children to find their father and bring him home, in the ocean. Accepting to fulfill her last wish, Chel and Kale started their 'quest', wishing to finish it as soon as possible, not liking to stay on the land.
One night, while they were resting in a motel, they were attacked by two hunters. They escaped in a river, but the hunters found them and brought them into the Asylum.

Special Talent: when her body is immersed in water Chel has her fish tail, which is her true form; when she's out of water, she turns into her human form, but in this form she’s more weak and needs water more often or she could not survive for long.

Fears/Weaknesses: she's scared to lose her brother, without him she feels not safe, especially in a place like the Asylum!
Heat and absence of water weaken her, she is stronger in her mermaid form than in her human's. Too much time away from any source of water may kill her.
