Of Time And Space (tags: Phoebus)

As he heard her say his name, his heart skipped a beat. He would have kissed her again and never let go, but he had to remember their situation. It wasn't fair to her to jump back to where they were. He brought her hand up to his mouth and placed a soft kiss before taking a step back from her. "I'm sorry if I've caused you any distress. That was not my intention."

She watched him with an unreadable look on her face as she struggled to keep herself composed. "No you didn't...I...I'm sorry." She said as she sat down on the chair she had vacated earlier. Her hands clutched the arm rests tightly as she kept her gaze lowered. "I never deserved someone as kind hearted, loyal and brave as you." She stated after a long pause before she raised her head to meet his eyes.

He watched her and frowned as she was struggling with her feelings. He walked over and knelt down next to her chair, gently placing his hand on hers. "Holli, if anything, I never deserved you. You are so perfect. It's my fault you got mixed up in this mess with The Archangel." He bowed his head fighting the urge to find that man and destroy him.

"I'm not as perfect as you say I am Phoebus. I've done things...terrible things and enjoyed doing them. The person you loved, the person I was...she's so far gone. I'm not the woman I once was Phoebus....no matter how much I wish I was." She said as she stared down at him. Her body relaxed as she said these things as if she was unleashing a burden she had had for too long. She didn't shed a tear as she spoke, even though it was evident that she was on the verge of them.

"I know that, but I know she is in there somewhere. But if this new you is what makes you happy, than I accept that." He gave her hand a gentle squeeze before he stood up once again. "I will still love you, no matter what side you choose."

She watched him feeling oddly relieved to hear him say so. "You really are too forgiving Phoebus." She said after a long pause before she looked back down at her hands. "I can take you to your room now if you want." She wasn't sure if he still wanted to be with her for very long. A part of her wondered what it would have been like to have been in a longer relationship with him...she had no doubts that the two of them would have been happy.

"Do you want me to go?" He looked down at her, almost disappointed that she was finished with him so soon. Though if she did want him to leave, he wouldn't object. She was in control after all. It had taken centuries for them to find each other again. Perhaps if he had died in the war like he had planned, she wouldn't be in this position right now.

"No!" She said hastily, "I just thought that you did." She said before she got up and stood behind him. "Forgive me?" She asked quietly as she studied him carefully. "I'm sorry if I offended you." She added softly as she reached one hand up towards his shoulder.

He turned to look at her and leaned his head down close to hers. "Of course my love." He kissed her lips once again, but only for a short moment. It was something he had never planned to do, yet he had done it twice now. Hopefully she wouldn't hate him once they were parted again.

He had never expected her return his gesture a second time, but he wasn't complaining. "We really shouldn't be doing this." He said softly as his lips captured hers, not wanting to let go. His body was acting on it's own, ignoring what his mind was telling him not to do. But he did it anyway. The centuries of loneliness were nothing compared to just ten minutes with her. He couldn't stop himself as he kissed her, over and over again.

Phoebus sat on the edge of the bed, still enveloped in her kisses. He knew that this would just lead to some regret, but his body just wouldn't stop. His hands run up and down her body feeling her every curve, remembering her figure as if she would just disappear from his touch any moment.

He let out a low growl of pleasure as she pushed him down, his hands playfully caressing her sides. His fingertips lightly tugged on her clothing, though he didn't want to rush this. He wanted to give her plenty of time to decide if it was what she really wanted. His whole body felt like it was on fire from her touch.

He couldn't help but smile as he felt her bare skin, slowly running his hand up under her shirt. Her skin felt so soft, just like it had all that time ago. His hand found her breasts and slipped beneath her bra to feel her more thoroughly.

When she pulled away, he frowned, thinking that she had finally decided against it. But that thought was quickly pushed away as she took off her shirt and bra. He slid off his shirt shortly after she did, quickly pulling her back into another kiss. His hand continued to play with her breasts as his other traveled down towards her waist. He pulled her down, closer to him so he could feel her body against his.

A small growl came past his lips as she pulled away once again. "You didn't expect me to stop working out, did you?" He said teasingly. His hand rested on her hip as he looked up at her, not even bothering leaning up to steal another kiss. Besides, he liked looking at her from this angle.

He smiled into the kiss, embracing every second. His pants began to feel increasingly tight but he didn't bother with it just yet. He moved his kisses down to her neck and slipped his hand beneath her skirt, wanting to feel every inch of her silky skin. It had been so long..too long.

He couldn't help the low chuckle passing his lips when he heard her say his name. His arms wrapped around her body as he rolled them over, putting himself on top of her. He practically tore off his pants, leaving him only in his underwear. She wasn't ready quite yet. He still had some work to do.
His hand slipped between her legs, lightly teasing her as he continued to kiss her neck. Before long, he had worked his way down to her chest, kissing her nipples just enough to cause them to harden.
